Conscious Sedation Medication: Prescription oral medication taken before the procedure to reduce anxiety, ease discomfort, and make longer or more complex procedures feel more manageable. You remain awake but deeply relaxed. You will need someone to drive you to and from the appointment, and you should plan to rest for the remainder of the day.IV Sedation: Provides a safe and controlled way to undergo dental procedures while completely relaxed or fully asleep. Administered by a dental anesthesiologist, IV sedation ensures comfort, safety, and a stress-free experience from start to finish. You wake up with the procedure complete and minimal memory of the treatment. IV sedation is ideal for patients with significant dental anxiety or those undergoing longer procedures.
